XL2362
WATER-BASED PAG DRY FILM CHAIN LUBRICANT WITH MOLYBDENUM FOR HIGH TEMPERATURES
XL2362 has been carefully formulated to function as a high temperature lubricant suitable for use on chains, wire drawing, metal forging, and mold release applications where a tenacious lubricant film is required. The pure molybdenum suspended in water dries and forms a film that will adhere to virtually any surface.
XL2362 remains stable a service temperature up to 316°C or 600°F.
XL2362 is:
• Environmentally friendly
• Non flammable
• Non oxidizing

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Surface should be thoroughly cleaned and dried prior to application of XL2362 in order to insure the greatest film stability. Pressure washing or sand-blasting of surface prior to application is highly recommended.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
XL2362 can be applied with a brush or sprayed directly to metal surface. For oven chains and rollers, XL2362 should be sprayed onto warm surfaces at temperatures greater than 100°C/212°F and spray pressures between 80-100 PSI so that the water component will evaporate on contact, and provide a fine film of molybdenum and PAG.
